She is the immediate preceding Chairperson of the Board of Healthway, the government’s zenith health promotion body. With more than 20 years’ experience in senior finance and management roles in the mining, energy infrastructure and health protection industries, Mr Wells was previously Chief Financial Officer at Singapore Power subsidiary Jemena Limited, and also held senior executive roles at Alinta Limited. Mr Power has extensive experience with more than 30 years’ exposure to the mining, steel and construction industries. Mr Power has led Fortescue’s commitment to safety excellence, and to the Billion Opportunities program which has awarded over A1.8 billion in contracts to Aboriginal businesses. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering and a. Mr Power has a lengthy history in agribusiness and aviation, holding both immobile wing and helicopter commercial pilot licenses. Ms Gaines is a highly experienced chief financial officer who also brings meaningful global, commercial and operational experience from a range of industry sectors to complement Fortescue’s highly qualified finance team. Having spent nearly 30 years in Perth, Mr Li has powerful experience in trade and investment projects between Australia and China. Ms O’Farrell previously held executive human resources roles in major Australian resources companies. His extensive experience in leading safety and operational excellence combined with his thorough knowledge and passion for technology and innovation provides for further development of Fortescue’s powerful operational and cost performance. Mr Watson has held a number of senior corporate health and safety roles in important mining companies over the final 15 years.
